Smitty's Models
There are two levels of service I offer. They are: Kit/Box Built and Premium. The price of a Premium Build is usually about twice that of a Kit or Box Built Model depending on customer specifications; but includes a much higher level of detail, realism and customization. I am also willing to negotiate a per build price ahead of time which includes everything.
*Premium Built Models Include:
-Model supplied by customer or builder, if supplied by builder will be added to price.
-Basic assembly with sprue trimming, gluing and minimal sanding
-Basic paintjob to match kit specifications in gloss or flat finish per kit
-Basic waterslide decal application per kit specifications
-Shipping, drop-off or pickup to be determined by customer
-Shipping to be paid by customer
-Labor: $10.00 per hour
-Kit/box built materials charge: $10.00
*Kit/Box Built Models Include:
-Model supplied by customer or builder, if supplied by builder will be added to price.
-Basic assembly with sprue trimming, gluing
-Detailed putty application to eliminate seams, cracks and imperfections
-Detailed putty blending of all pieces where applicable
-Detailed sanding
-Basic paintjob to match kit specifications in gloss or flat finish per kit OR custom paintjob
as outlined by customer to include realistic paintjob if desired
-Waterslide decal application per kit specifications OR as outlined by customer with all
decals laquer coated
-Shipping, drop-off or pickup to be determined by customer
-Shipping to be paid by customer
-Labor: $20.00 per hour
-Premium materials charge: $20.00

I am now constructing kits with custom interior lighting! You can have a starship or other model with a lit interior for an incredible display!
***Please note that NOT ALL MDELS CAN BE LIT! Size, shape, scale and other factors influence the ability or inability
to light a model. This will be determined before the build begins.
***Models with custom interior lighting will be lit with custom wired LED's and/or fibre optics as required.
***Unless otherwise specified, lighting will be battery operated.
***Where possible, DC adapters can be specified in place of battery. This will be determined before build begins.
***Models with interior lighting will be charged premium materials charge plus cost of lighting materials as specied.
***Models with interior lighting will be charged $25.00 per hour
